When you engage with Immigration Trust, you will get confident advice to help you find the best course for your children and which school to attend. Based on your decision which school you want to send your children to, we will work with the school to organise an offer of place.
To get the offer, you will need to provide below documents:
Proof of your identity (A scan of your passport details page)
Your Academic Record (If it is not in English, it needs to be translated in English and notarised)
Your English level (for tertiary courses). For some colleges may require a certain English level. However we can arrange your children to take some language course before they start their college study.
Choosing the right College for your children may not be easy if you are not in New Zealand. Education Trust is based in NZ and Simon Park, our CEO has lectured at University and polytechnic in New Zealand. Therefore we will add values to your decision which school will be the best choice for your children.
We will work for you to get the best education for your children from your school as follow: - For Primary or Secondary levels of study, your children will enter a class near their age. The children may need some extra study of English first, and their school may also offer ESOL support, or recommend extra ESOL classes. If your children do not have enough English, we may recommend them to start one year below of their age. New Zealand schools run from February to December. Your children can start in February or July. You may want your children to take some English or High School Preparation classes in the six months before the New Zealand school year begins.
- For studying ESOL only (English for Speakers of Other Languages) your children's English will improve much more quickly when you study in an English-speaking country. Your children’s chosen English language school may want to know their current level of English and his or her plans for the future. That way they can understand how long you will take to reach your education goal, and the best way to help you achieve it.
- For studying qualifications at the Tertiary level, the minimum requirements are set by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). For some institutions, including universities, you will need higher than the minimum requirement.
After you have applied: If you are accepted into the school or course that you want, you will be sent an Offer Of Place and a Fees Statement for tuition fees, costs, and services. We will guide you to the next step of applying for a Student Visa.
